Name: Mr. David’s Bike Challenge

Description: A new tradition has begun for Mr. David’s this year with the 1st Annual Mr. David’s Bike Challenge coming up on Saturday, October 3rd. Through this bike challenge, Mr. David’s will be reaching out to the flooring community for support in raising money for a local charity. The charity benefiting from this year’s race will be the Central DuPage Health Foundation, with all proceeds specifically going towards improving the Central DuPage Hospital’s Pediatric Unit.

This event all began when Leonard and David started planning a 50k ride scheduled for the end of summer. They started getting others in the flooring community involved, and, because enough people showed interest, it was decided that someone could benefit from them riding all these miles. This idea became the Annual Mr. David’s Bike Challenge. Mr. David’s has hopes that its Bike Challenge continues each year and is successful in making a difference for a local charity.

Name: Mr. David’s Flooring International Grand Opening Party

Description: To kick off NeoCon 2009, MDFI hosted a Grand Opening Party to welcome everyone into its new home in Itasca. Management, as well as the sales team, was thrilled to have guests including customers, vendors, union representatives, and StarNet members attend the golf-themed soiree.

Guests enjoyed dinner and cocktails, as well as a variety of activities. Many were found playing miniature golf and admiring the classic cars in the warehouse, while others enjoyed playing pool. Later in the evening, a bonfire and lively poker game entertained partygoers.
